Product description

Fission™ has come to the Reactor! When thinking about what the first midrange released in Fission™ plastic would be, the Reactor — beloved for its reliable flight — was a no-brainer first pick. The Fission™ Reactor, thanks to Fission™ Microbubble Technology, is able to be molded all the way down to 155g and still retain its desired flight characteristics. You’ll now be able to enjoy the superb line-holding properties of GYRO® in an extremely reliable midrange, no matter how heavy you like your discs to be! Pick up a Fission™ Reactor today and experience the next step in Fission™ technology!

The Reactor’s flight path is characterized by a neutral-stable GYRO® push followed by a dependable fade.

High powered players should expect the Reactor to have some subtle, flight-extending turn that doesn’t overpower its natural fade — making the Reactor a dependable, workhorse midrange on every angle of release. The Reactor has just enough fade to shape long turnovers, and the right amount of turn and glide to support laser-like straight shots or hyzer bombs. If you have the power, the Reactor is a surprisingly long flyer too.

Lower power players will find the reactor to be an extremely dependable flat-to-fade midrange — one of the most classic and often needed shots in disc golf. The turn, while likely not apparent from a flat release, will show itself when released on anhyzer — yielding a longer s-turn than perhaps expected. From hyzer, the subtle turn of the Reactor will allow it to generate workable hyzers.

Excelling at gap hitting, control, and accuracy from both forehand and backhand – the Reactor is the neutral-stable workhorse midrange that you’ve been looking for.

Fission technology

Fission Plastic description:

Fission™ Microbubble Technology produces an ultralight core with evenly distributed and imperceptible weight reduction microbubbles. The ultralight core allows an even higher GYRO® overmold density relative to the core, yet still remaining in the lighter weight classes — 135g to 175g in the Photon.
This produces an entirely new type of lightweight disc never before seen in the sport, and beyond the capability of any other manufacturer. Weight distribution, stability, and durability of prior “bubble” discs are all improved upon by Fission. Skeptics of prior light or bubble plastics are in for a surprise, as Fission brings advanced disc physics and true high-tech molding into the lightweight plastics arena.

* Ultra-lightweight core for added GYRO®
* Imperceptible micro-bubbles
* Improved durability over competition
* Light throwing weight with substantial feel
