[Lab 2nd] MVP Fission Relay

Product description

The Relay features a slim 16mm wing that feels extra chunky in the hand while still being our easiest to grip driver. While advanced and expert throwers will have a healthy flip and turn to carve with, beginner to average disc golfers will get a controllable straight flyer that doesn’t need much power. The Relay’s low-speed demands make it the easiest MVP driver to throw for beginners and the best all-around “powered-down” disc for experts.

The Relay is MVP's first driver with a 16mm rim, which is traditionally the most narrow-rimmed class for a true driver wing profile, before getting into midrange territory. For this reason some throwers may think of the Relay as a long midrange or shorter distance driver. The narrow wing of the Relay makes it easy for newer players to get it up to speed.

Advanced throwers can expect a straight-to-turning flight from the Relay if thrown flat, or a flip-up-to-flat line if thrown with hyzer. Beginner and average throwers can expect for more of their launch angle to hold throughout the flight with the Relay.

Fission Plastic description:

Fission™ Microbubble Technology produces an ultralight core with evenly distributed and imperceptible weight reduction microbubbles. The ultralight core allows an even higher GYRO® overmold density relative to the core, yet still remaining in the lighter weight classes — 135g to 175g in the Photon.
This produces an entirely new type of lightweight disc never before seen in the sport, and beyond the capability of any other manufacturer. Weight distribution, stability, and durability of prior “bubble” discs are all improved upon by Fission. Skeptics of prior light or bubble plastics are in for a surprise, as Fission brings advanced disc physics and true high-tech molding into the lightweight plastics arena.

* Ultra-lightweight core for added GYRO®
* Imperceptible micro-bubbles
* Improved durability over competition
* Light throwing weight with substantial feel
