Gateway Special Blend (SB) Devil Hawk

Product description

The Devil Hawk is a low profile putt and approach disc with a bullet shaped nose and a bead on the wing for stability. It also has a Thumb Track design for added control and feel. This disc is basically a Wizard with 1/4-inch of rim depth taken out of the middle. This is our most over-stable putter in our Putt & Approach line.

Special Blend (SB) Plastic description:

Gateway often samples materials that are sent to them by suppliers that are either entirely new components or additives to their existing blends. Gateway started labeling special blends after several years of running them with the first being SB-6 and are now up to SB-30. These prototype batches range in quantities from 60 to 300 discs. Unfortunately it’s not always possible to recreate the runs due to their experimental nature. The current blend of SB-30 is something Gateway can recreate and could end up becoming the final Special Blend.
